The Mill on the Soar used to be a Mill House. The original Mill Wheel is retained in the centre of the building. In 2007 we had a major refurbishment which has added an impressive comfortable adult only area for residents and visitors to enjoy. The bars have different sections that allows us to cater for adults and families. Children are made most welcome whether they want to play outside in our fully equipped adventure playground or when dining.

CASK MARQUE
The Mill on the Soar is proud to be accredited as a Cask Marque public house for our preparation of quality real ale. This scheme is operated independently by the Cask Marque Trust. The accreditation is given to the publican and not the pub. The Mil on the Soar is visited by an independent assessor unannounced twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. The assessor checks all cask ales for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste. On becoming accredited as a Cask Marque pub, the Mill on the Soar was presented with a plaque framed certificate that hangs proudly in the bar.
